Turbine is a moderate efficiency turbine designed to extract energy from a jet of water. The water is directed onto buckets around the rim of a runner, and the shape of the buckets ensures that the most of the kinetic energy is converted into mechanical energy. They are suitable to high head sites, and can produce energy from low flows. and multiple jets of water can be directed on to the one runner. LH Energy can offer both Horizontal and Vertical Pelton turbines from head of 50m to 1000m in range of 10kW to 25MW.
